About the school
Our school is named after Edward Feild who, as curate of St Mary's Church in Kidlington, founded the first Kidlington village school in 1828. He later became Bishop of Newfoundland and Bermuda, regularly sailing the 1500 miles between them and also venturing across the Atlantic to England quite often!
From time to time we exchange emails and greetings with our sister school Bishop Feild School in St. John's, Newfoundland. Edward Feild Primary School is an academy which is part of the River Learning Trust, which is an exempt charitable company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales with registered company number 7966500 and its registered office is c/o Gosford Hill School, Oxford Road, Kidlington, Oxfordshire OX5 2NT. |
