Pupil Premium and Entitlement to Free School Meals
Pupil premium is the additional funding that the school receives to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. To see how the latest funding was used please refer to the latest Pupil Premium report found on the Statutory Info & Polices page.
In our school families who register for Free School Meals are provided with a free sweatshirt and house PE t-shirt each year, and a free bookbag (or discount off a rucksack) when they start school. Registering for free meals helps the school get funding which we can use to support your children by helping to pay for trips and other events and opportunities, as well as staff to support them in school and their families.
To check if your children are eligible please bring or email the parent's surname, National Insurance number and parent's date of birth to the office. You can check this webpage for the eligibility rules, but if you are not sure just ask us!
Note that ALL children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are provided with free school meals at the moment, but you need to be eligible as above in order to receive the free uniform and other support.
